Take a look at the videos, mp3s and images of this year's festival that was hosted by Wyebridge Sports College on the 12th and 13 of July.
With funding from Aim Higher, The Rural Media Company helped Josh, Kirsty, Tom, Sarah, Becky and Adrian from Wyebridge to report on what happened during the two day event.
They learnt a range of media and technical skills to capture the event. They had to learn how to make a movie from scratch including; scripting, story boarding, directing and acting as well using the kit; digital video cameras, microphones and editing equipment.
To record the Vox Pops they practised interviewing techniques which also helped with the audio interviews aided by Mini Disc audio recorders and digital cameras.
The aim of Herefordshire Schools Science Festival is to promote science as a subject at school, college, university and as a career. Each year the event is held at a different Herefordshire School, this year at Wyebridge Sports College in South Hereford.
The two day event was attended by (number) pupils from (number) primary and (number) secondary schools.
It consists of a series of different workshops located around the school ranging from a planetarium and science in a suitcase to falconry and juggling - all with a focus on how science affects everything we do.
A national initiative to encourage more learners from under represented groups to participate in Higher Education
